My Mother was Annette Theresa Jean born 6 April 1940 in Pawtucket, RI. She was the daughter of George Thaddeus Jean and Leona M. Michaud. She grew up on 77 Columbine Ave. in Pawtucket and attended Our Lady of Consolation in Pawtucket on Newport Ave. Annette has one sister Claire who lives in Foster, RI.
Annette graduated from a Catholic High School and married her sweetheart Roger Rene Turgeon on 16 Nov 1957. She gave birth to her first child Roger (me) on 28 July 1961. We lived for a while in Central Falls, RI then in Riverside, CA. Then back to Pawtucket, RI.
Roger left Annette and his son Roger only two years old. They got a divorce some time latter. The date I do not know. She moved back in with her parents until she meet her 2nd husband Allen Linneaus Lunn. They were married on 6 Jan 1966. A short time latter in 1967 Allen adopted her first son Roger and changed his name to Roger Allen Lunn. On 15 Oct 1969 Annette gave birth to her 2nd child Michael Allen Lunn.
For a time they lived in Mansfield on Union Street until Allen's parent passed away in 1972. They purchased their own home in 1973. They lived the rest of their lives at 7 Wampum Rd. in Norton, MA. Annette worked for 20 plus years for R&S Silkscreen on South Worcester St. in Norton, MA She worked their till the day she died.
Annette had about with Breast Cancer but survived another 15 years until the cancer came back. She was diagnosed with terminal Liver cancer on election day Nov 2004. After leaving the doctors office in tears she preformed her patriotic duty and went and cast her vote. On Sunday 20 Nov 2004 Annette Theresa Jean went home to be with her Lord. We buried her on the day before Thanksgiving about 18 months after her husband Allen. They are buried together in Norton Common Cemetery on RT 123 in Norton.
Annette had 7 grandchildren. Three from Michael ( Jacob, Justin, and Jayce born after she died), from Roger 2 girls (Leona and Angelina) she was living with them when she died and wanted so much to grow old living with these girls. The oldest turned 3 a month after she died and the youngest was only 9 months old. She also had two grandchildren from her step daughter Traci Allen's daughter from a previous relationship. Her two boys are Ryan and Noah.
